About Us

eitech: a medium-sized family business

"Made in Germany" since 1977

Eichsfelder Technik eitech GmbH has been producing metal construction kits in the tranquil town of Pfaffschwende (Thuringia) since the 1970s. The medium-sized company is now run by the third generation of the family, Steffen and Markus Hildebrandt, and over time has expanded its range to include two additional brands in the toy sector.

Safety is our top priority

Certified quality

Children want and need to experience and understand the world in the truest sense of the word. You want to experience a toy with all your senses and its properties must be correspondingly safe. As a toy manufacturer with high quality standards “Made in Germany”, we are fully aware of this challenge and act accordingly.

The in-house production of our metal construction kits enables us to achieve a maximum safety standard. After processing, punching and bending, the components made of high-quality sheet steel are additionally ground flat (trowalising) to avoid injuries caused by sharp edges and burrs. For surface refinement, we use zinc electroplating, which is harmless to health, instead of the usual nickel plating, which is harmful to health.

All eitech construction sets are certified in accordance with DIN EN 71 and bear the CE mark required by law within the EU, which guarantees compliance with uniform safety standards for toys. Some of our products are additional game well awarded. The “spiel gut” seal is one of the most important and prestigious awards for educationally valuable children’s toys in Germany.
